Hillhouse formed in the spring of 2009 in Senatobia, MS. Wilson Harris, who serves as principle songwriter, vocalist, and lead guitarist is joined by drummer Nick Williams and bassist/guitarist Nathan Crockett. Hillhouse blends folk rock, blues, funk, and country into an authentic, original sound. The band has made their way all over the midsouth, performing at the New Daisy Theatre and Rumba Room in Downtown Memphis, Pope’s Place in Nashville, Goodtime Charlie’s in Tupelo, and also performed on the main stage at the first annual Love Music Festival in Hernando. In 2010 Hillhouse headlined the Minerva Music Festival Preparty in Tupelo, and also opened for CCMA nominee Marlee Scott at Rebel 95.3’s Miracle on 51 annual fundraiser, held at the Southaven Arena. Among the artists/bands Hillhouse has shared the stage with are the Burnside Exporation, Marlee Scott, Woodstomp, RT Scott, KC Johns, The Dirt Brothers, Deadfall Rd., Pengea, Porterhouse, Mojoflo, The Gatewood Brothers, Hancock Co., and Lately David among others.
